Job Description // Vue.js Frontend Programmer

With our increasing adoption and demand for rollout in South East Asia, we are scaling our engineering team. 

What you will do

Write E2E tests using Cypress framework

Write clean, reusable, testable and efficient code in NuxtJs

Develop new client-side Vue.js components for modern web and mobile applications

Design scalable frontend architecture

Improve product quality through code reviews and collaboration with QA

Contribute to open source, write your experiences, mentor others and proactively improve

Help maintain and improve our documentation, codebase and infrastructure

Implement new features as well as maintaining our existing ones based on given requirements

Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to translate requirements into fully functional features

 What you will have

Strong teamwork, communication, coordination and planning skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Able to pick up and learn new skills and technologies quickly

Must be detail-oriented

Strong knowledge in software architecture and design patterns

Experience working remotely & as part of a distributed engineering team

Strong problem solving skills are essential

English Skills (ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken english)

Minimum 2 years of software engineering experience in frontend development particularly Vue.js

Proficiency in web and mobile frontend development; Vue.js, JavaScript, JSON, HTML 5, CSS, LESS, GIT

Strong knowledge of state management libraries; Vuex

Complete understanding on development of Progressive Web Applications and web workers

Knowledge of Test frameworks like Jest, Mocha, React Testing Library

Experience with AWS, NuxtJs, TailwindCss is an added advantage

Exposure to page speed optimization techniques

Work on automation to actively measure and improve quality and performance of our frontend apps
