You will organize and own key integration projects for Geotab customers and partners. What You'll Do

As a Solutions Engineering (Contractor), you will become familiar with all areas of the Geotab product suite, and contribute to pre-sales opportunities at all technical levels. You will be engaged from the start on exciting new opportunities and challenges to expand Geotab’s footprint in the telematics industry. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for assisting the Geotab Sales team in pre-sales opportunities, running product pilots, and managing special strategic projects as required. You will leverage your knowledge in all aspects of the Geotab product suite to devise and build solutions to exceed end-user expectations. This role will also support requests for both software and hardware product integrations.

To be successful in this contract role, you will be a strong multi-tasker with excellent time management skills, to properly monitor and prioritize various projects. This contractor role involves travel to on-site locations in order to provide in-person support to customers where necessary. You will work alongside the Sales, Software Development, Embedded Systems, Engineering Support, and Partner Account Management teams, among others.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Maintain documentation for all ongoing projects and tasks.
  • Support the expansion of local vehicle support for the Geotab products.
  • Strategize with sales teams to create unique business solutions.
  • Support sales teams with escalated technical related queries.
  • Draft and deliver presentations on targeted products.
  • Learn and maintain technical knowledge of the Geotab ecosystem.
  • Provide demonstrations of Geotab's capabilities and products.
  • Act as the main technical point of contact for strategic key accounts.
  • Provide technical project management assistance to key Customers and Resellers.
  • Provide Professional Services where appropriate, including pre-sales, consulting, and support.
  • Build and maintain industry-specific custom reports.
  • Provide Customer support by advocating and steering assistance though internal channels.
  • Liaise with the PMO team to share ideas and align on Geotab project best practices.

What You’ll Bring To This Role

  • 3-5+ years in a technical sales or account management position.
  • Strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements.
  • Bilingual English and Tagalog speakers preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with delivering presentations and training with the ability to document technology solutions in precise detail.
  • A strong understanding of the regulations in place for transportation services (e.g. OBD, SAE vehicle standards).
  • Knowledge of vehicle circuitry and CAN communication.
  • Understanding of serial data interfaces and communication.
  • Technical experience using SQL, C#, JavaScript or Google BigQuery.
  • Knowledge of programming logic and understanding is highly valued.
  • Hands-on experience with customer engagements.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve well-judged decisions.
  • Must stay relevant to technology and should have the flexibility to adapt to the growing technology and market demands.
  • A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
