Software Engineer

HT Group is a leading distributor of automotive products and an operator of a network of car service centers in Malaysia.

This is a newly created role due to organizational growth and a great opportunity for talented developers that are keen to take the next step in their career.

This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality software and web applications for one of the largest tyre distribution companies in Malaysia
• Analyze and maintain existing software applications
• Design highly scalable, testable code
• Conduct high-quality code reviews

Skills and experience

• 3 years of relevant experience.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject is desirable
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling such as React is required
• Experience working with CI/CD and automation tools
• Have a strong demonstrated ability to ship high-quality products. We love engineers that build side-projects or contribute to open-source repos. Please include a link to your Github profile and/or past projects in your resume.
• Fluent in spoken and written English

Expect remuneration in the range of RM45,000-70,000 per year.
