About Our Client

My client is a market leading Distribution & Supply Chain MNC based in UK. They are currently looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join their team.

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will need to develop and customise technical solutions, execute implementation, gather requirements, create workflows and other ServiceNow configurations. Successful candidate will also need to provide 2nd level support for ServiceNow ops. He or She should have good understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and ServiceNow modules.

Job Description

  • Acts as escalation level support for all Service Now related tickets, from initial investigation to resolution.
  • Works with other IT teams and business users on gathering requirements, estimating development and delivery effort, and creating functional/technical design documents
  • Configure/Customize task forms, creating/modifying workflows and creating custom tables/applications
  • Develops new workflows and creates integration solutions for ServiceNow
  • Manages service portal pages, integration using MID server or direct web service integrations
  • Creates or updates business rules, client scripts, UI actions, UI scripts, tables and menus
  • Creates/migrates update sets, including conflict resolution and making configurations in multiple update sets
  • Performs system and integration testing with sample and live data
  • Monitors health, usage and overall compliance of the application
  • Maintains architecture/developer documentation on implementations
  • Coordinates and supports modular testing from various stakeholders around ServiceNow platform upgrades
  • Performs upgrade and cloning activities for ServiceNow instances
  • Able to create REST API solutions to support integration of ServiceNow with other applications/platforms
  • Supports development operations around ITSM, ITBM, and ITOM

The Successful Applicant

  • Candidate should possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other relevant field.
  • At least 2 years' experience in scripting, development, or implementation of ServiceNow
  • Good technical background, with understanding and/or experience in ITIL tools and processes
  • ServiceNow Developer or Implementer certification preferred
  • Experience in ServiceNow's ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM preferred
  • ITIL Foundation Certification preferred
