Server-Side Engineer (Java), Makati City - Temporary Remote

Lennor Metier is hiring for an experienced Server-Side Engineer (Java) to join a leading provider of digital banking solutions. You will utilize both technical and business knowledge and experience to perform design, analysis, research, maintenance, troubleshooting, and other software engineering activities.

What To Expect From The Role

• Perform hands-on software design and development
• Develop server-side applications
• Utilizing analytical skills to developing new features, as well as, enhancing existing features, and frameworks, and troubleshooting problems.
• Work closely with the business team in understanding and implementing the optimum software solution.

What You’ll Need

• At least 2 years of Java or J2EE experience
• With hands-on experience in Java Development (Any version); Experience with Spring, Hibernate & Web Services is preferred but not required
• Experience working in an Agile environment with a strong understanding of Scrum ceremonies
• Good experience in applying Java/J2EE and related frameworks and technologies
• Knowledge in any of the databases; Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server or DB2
• Working experience in the Finance or banking industry is an advantage

Location: Makati City, Philippines

Setup: Work From home until further notice

Shift: 11AM - 8PM
