We are hiring an SEO Specialist to enable our users to be best able to find our site and our value-add offerings.
Responsibilities
- Build an SEO strategy across web entities
- Create an implementation roadmap for implementing best practices to drive more engagement
- Monitor search algorithms set by search engines to keep up with changes in the SEO landscape
- Continually check search terms, rankings and analytics to monitor the performance of websites and make recommendations for improvement
- Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
- Performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
- Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success
- Develop and integrate content marketing strategies
- Use social media to distribute content and encourage external sites to link back to the site of the organization
- Drive targeted and loyal traffic to the website through effective community-building
- Employing user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimization methods to turn visitors into active users
Requirements
- Proven SEO experience
- Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
- BS/MS degree in a quantitative, test-driven field
