Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for embedded software engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our software Proof of Concept (PoC) team. As part of the Experience Innovation Group (EIG) in the CTO office, the Software POC team needs people that can imagine new products, solutions and technologies – then quickly build them into tangible prototypes that can be tested.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in the definition of the future products. Working closely with ID, UX, architect and ODMs to design and implement system and application software to bring product concept to high fidelity functional prototype.

Essential Requirements
  • More than 5 years of experience in embedded system software development, RTOS and/or Linux
  • Experience in customizing Android open source project
  • Good understanding in wireless technologies, WiFi, BT/BLE and/or cellular
  • Solid programming skill in C/C++ and/or Java, OOP concept
  • Demonstrate a hunger for new knowledge and the ability to quickly source, test and demo ideas
  • Excellent communicator and able to thrive in a fluid, flexible and at times ambiguous innovation environment
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience in software development lifecycles using Agile
  • Experience in seeing through full embedded system product development cycle, from power-on to full functional system
  • Basic understanding of hardware, able to read schematic
