Marcura is looking for a Senior Sales Manager to develop our activities in Singapore


You will join MarTrust, which is a company under The Marcura Group. MarTrust is an ambitious and dynamic payment services organisation that delivers a unique value proposition to the Maritime industry. In MarTrust, you will join a team of experienced payments specialists, who focus on continuously developing the value proposition and market awareness. While it is an ambitious team, your new colleagues are also up for casual virtual hangouts and brainstorming sessions. You’ll work closely with the Commercial and Product Development Teams, who are passionate about offering the best financial solutions focused solely on the maritime industry.


This is what we really need from you:

As a Senior Sales Manager, you promotes MarTrust brand awareness and define a robust sales plan and prospects pipeline to sell and develop MarTrust services such as e-wallet, FOREX, and payment solutions within the Maritime Industry. 


Your new day to day will be:

  • Promote MarTrust brand awareness, Payment solutions, FOREX, and E-wallet to prospective customers within the Maritime Industry in Singapore and Asia. 
  • Plan sales and prospecting strategy for the relevant country and define the relevant activities to meet sales targets. Provide regular updates on the progress made to the Management and update our internal software that monitor the sales pipeline cycle.
  • Establish customers' needs, assess the relevant services required and prepare and present the proposal to the customer. Understand the value drivers and negotiate the commercials for the relevant services.
  • Liaise with Business Intelligence Team to develop high quality leads following the processes and Marcura’s core values to drive commercial actions.
  • Closely collaborate with sales and marketing departments within the group to determine the best methods of promoting MarTrust services within the country and region.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures, reasonable and lawful instructions of MarTrust to ensure compliance with the UK FCA and the Relevant Financial entities.


Your background:

  • Holding an MBA or Master degree in Sales or Business Development
  • Banking Education and Experience in Banking or Payment sector
  • Experience in remote working or collaborating virtually
  • Strong sales experience, with Ship Management or maritime industry exposure
  • Experience working for a Payment Provider or a Bank with a network in the shipping industry would be a great advantage.
