Zillow Canada is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Economist who has a passion for applying creative economic thinking to understanding housing trends, their impacts, and communicating them to a variety of partners to join our growing team. You will join a team that is at the centre of redefining the future of Canadian home search and selling. We are responsible for building Zillow’s search experience, the audience in Canada and defining itself as an authoritative source for Canadian Real Estate. We lean on Zillow’s vast resources in the US to operate in a scrappier, start-up environment that moves fast with exposure and access to Zillow’s executive team. Zillow’s mission is to make the process of buying or selling a home a consumer-friendly, state-of-the-art experience that can be launched with just the click of a button, and you will be central to growing this mission with us in Canada!
About The Role
You will be responsible for handling Zillow’s communications strategy in Canada using your creativity, media relationships and experience in awareness-building campaigns. As the point person responsible for fielding media requests, working closely with our editorial team to develop content, and mining for data to help tell stories about the Canadian housing economy.
What You'll Do
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
