Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in leadership positions in marketing, digital, and/or advertising sales.
  • Experience in the ad technology (AdTech) business.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Understanding of product development and activation processes in an internet, software or other technology setting.
  • Ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Solid networking and influencing skills, with the ability to work across various functions to rally teams around common goals.
  • Outstanding people leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to lead several simultaneous projects in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with flexibility to pitch messaging to various levels.

About The Job

As the Sellside Video Lead, you will be the primary link between the regional Online Partnerships Group (OPG) organization and global Product teams. In this unique role, you will play a prominent role in injecting energy and creativity in formulating and driving high-impact initiatives that position Google’s video solutions front of mind with our publishing partners.

In this role, you will translate global product strategy into tactical product initiatives tailored to the needs of our region and to our partners and drive cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams. You’ll be driving thought leadership discussions with stakeholders in global product organizations to guide the sellside video product roadmap, while also providing product guidance to APAC Sales Leadership to help drive business growth. You'll work closely with a range of stakeholders across the Go-to-Market, regional functional and in-country teams to align and execute on product strategies. As a regional lead, you will also liaise with counterparts from other regions to share best practices and coordinate product influence.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Own the sellside Video (Google Ad Manager) product go-to-market strategy in APAC, and work with Online Publisher Group leads to drive business outcomes and product adoption goals, while also leading cross­-functional projects working with broad stakeholder sets.
  • Represent Sellside Video in priorities in executive forums, advocating for Sales and Product executive leaders.
  • Lead cross-functional group and drive long-term competitive advantage through product deployment, feature activation, and frontline capability development for advanced video (platforms), Connected TV, and building open auction business.
  • Drive effective product-to-market processes including development of sales activation plans, value propositions, go-to-market timelines, pipeline, performance tracking, as well as Sales team training and communications.
  • Partner with analysts and Strategy teams to build strong market-to-product channels to support product evolution with our global product leads and Product Management teams.
