TASKS:

  • Responsible for the management of the complete sales life cycle management of each of the sales team members – planning, prospecting, presentations, and closing
  • Responsible for the sales team managing and growing market share
  • Must ensure that the sales team manages the sales pipeline using the Sprout CRM
  • Responsible for ensuring the provision of all necessary metrics by the sales team
  • Must be able to report sales metrics to the Head of Sales on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc basis
  • Able to help the sales team prepare tailored proposals aimed at closing complex opportunities
  • Responsible for training the sales team in all aspects of the sales process so that the sales team members are experts in prospecting, account qualification, sales process planning, forecasting, closing, reporting to management
  • Able to help the sales team in building deep client relationships which result in sales referrals and client references
  • Ensure the sales team maintains up to date competitive knowledge
  • Fiscal responsibility with regards to expense management

QUALIFICATIONS | COMPETENCIES:

  • Experience in “benefits” selling
  • 3-5 years proven track record of managing sales teams – preferably in software sales
  • Experience and track record in high technology sales and/or sales management (services, software)
  • Proven history of acquiring new business via direct sales model across enterprise customers
  • Understanding of SaaS, data security, networking, and IT infrastructure
  • Proficient in account planning and understanding of territory management
  • Confident self-starter with the ability to connect technological advantages to business goals
  • A positive, persistent, and professional can-do attitude
  • Must be ready to handle a young group of talented sales individuals
  • Sound business judgment, integrity and commitment to excellence
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, effective communicator, exemplary leadership/advisory skills
