Regional Sales Manager
Orissa International is a leading consultancy in the area of market entry and expansion. Established in 1997, the company is headquartered in Singapore with offices throughout Southeast Asia. We are now looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager in Singapore to assist our client in the cable and wire sector to expand into the APAC market.
Client background
Our client, Cimteq Ltd (www.cimteq.com) is the leader in innovative software and service solutions to the multi-billion cable and wire manufacturing industry worldwide. It is a truly global company with over 95% of its customer base located outside of the UK.
Its solutions reduce costs and significantly streamline customer operations. It counts the largest global cable manufacturers as key customers who make significant productivity gains through the use of its software. It has recently released its latest product CableMES with global potential to drive significant revenue for the business.
It is likely that the electricity or the network cable you use is designed with Cimteq’s software, along with specialty cables for power transmission and communication, over the ground, under the sea, through the air, and even in space.
Who is this job for?
We’re recruiting for an ambitious Regional Sales Manager based in Singapore to drive sales for Cimteq across the APAC region. This is a new business role and you will be responsible for sales management, lead generation, and securing new business supported by marketing and pre-sales technical support, either directly or through distribution or both.
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in manufacturing software sales with a consultative led sales approach to customers. Experience in the Cable Manufacturing sector would be a distinct advantage, as will experience in Product Data Management, MES, or ERP in a manufacturing environment.
