Regional Legal Counsel - Renewables

The Green Recruitment Company are partnering with an innovative funding and development company in the renewable energy sector as they seek a Regional Legal Counsel based in Singapore. Our client funds early-stage development projects to achieve commercially viable Infrastructure that contributes to sustainable and inclusive economic growth across the region.

Specific activities undertaken by the Legal Counsel will include;

• Corporate and Shareholder Governance Matters
• Project Development, Co-investment and Divestments
• Developer Relations
• Compliance & Risk Management, and
• Corporate Support

To be successful in this role you should have ideally have;

• A law degree with 7 to 10 years PQE, with some exposure to renewable energy;
• Experience in infrastructure focused private equity, infrastructure development or infrastructure financing;
• Experience of Shareholders Agreements, Joint-Ventures, Sales and Purchase Agreements, project development concessions, PPAs, project finance documents and construction related contracts;
• Ability to apply sound, principled, and consistent judgement in a diverse and challenging legal and business environment;
• Experience in establishing policies and protocols from the ground-up;
