About this team

The Quality team is responsible for quality assurance together with vendors in field and our cross functional partners . Our objective is to make sure quality product delivered on time to stores and guests . Leading our vendor to improve quality continuously in an efficient way .

A day in the life:

  • Develop and on board new vendors to meet lulu lemon development, production and quality expectations.
  • Conduct factory assessments to evaluate vendor capability and identify gaps for continuous improvement regularly with FGV.
  • Communicate new vendor technical readiness status to cross functional partners and alert team to any risks
  • Manage the continuous improvement of vendors through annual facility audits process.
  • Expand existing vendor technical capabilities based on Sourcing strategy.
  • Evaluate factory quality efficiency and process improvement and ensure accurate line output information with ME.
  • Support Manufacturing Excellence initiatives including Production Efficiency, Planning Efficiency and Data accuracy.
  • Handle multi / dual source project with team and vendor to make sure technical readiness and connection with field QA preproduction work before mass production.
  • Strong partnership with field QA job to manage vendor quality KPI and provide strong technical support with QA field.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of manufacturing / Technician quality assurance job on GMT / textile industry in field
  • Understand fty manufacturing process and quality system
  • Understand quality testing lab requirement , AATCC , ASTM ..etc
  • Training and coaching skill
  • TQM , six sigma training concept , SQMS system
  • GSD , SMV , operation breakdown , sewing machines, tools , template
  • Understand sewing machine set up , line balance and operation breakdown with manufacturing excellent process.
