Lead Quality Assurance Engineer (Selenium), temporary remote

Lennor Metier is looking for an experienced Lead Quality Assurance Engineer (Selenium) to join a global leader in technology solutions.

What To Expect From The Role

• Lead the releases and deployment, and work with QA to improve and automate testing practices
• Establish and fulfill test plans and scripts that will determine optimal application performance according to specifications
• Create automated test scripts using a variety of tools
• Validate and modify quality assurance standards as needed
• Make sure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements
• Collaborate with software and systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods
• Create recommendations for improvement of applications to programmers and software developers or engineers
• Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management
• Test any new software to ensure integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications
• Assist in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies
• Classify an automated regression testing process and framework
• Connect the value of quality assurance best practices

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree
• With at least 5 years of experience in managing the design, development, and implementation of quality assurance standards for software testing. Has lead experience.
• Strong background in Selenium and hands-on experience with a variety of testing techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Has excellent logic and problem-solving skills, and possess a drive to make a difference
