We are looking for an energetic, motivated and articulate team player to join our Sales Team as a Junior Business Developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for prospecting, following up and qualifying leads.
Qualified candidates should be self-starters with proven track-record of success in their
professional and personal lives. They should be excited about SaaS, Sales and have interest in
joining a fast-paced organization in high-tech.
Aura is a fast-growing enterprisesoftware (SaaS) solution providing insights for the Agricultural Commodity Industry. Aura Commodities portfolio of clients include Columbia Threadneedle, Good Mills Group, APG Asset Management, Heineken and many others.
As a Business developer, you’ll be focused on building new markets for Aura’s evolving tech
offerings. Your target clients will largely consist of major Agricultural and Industry companies: Asset managers, Millers, Feeders, Biofuel, Hedge funds, Banks, Food & Beverages.
Your job is to bring on client meetings (book demonstration)
Create a fantastic new impression to prospects while building your pipeline
Cold calling is your best friend
New business hunting role focussing on Enterprise accounts
Sales cycles are from 8-12 weeks typically
You should be proactive, independent and a self-starter

1-2 Years of SaaS Sales Experience
High-energy Team Player
Demonstrated success in meeting monthly targets
Ability to create contacts up to the highest level of decision making, working through different levels of an organisation’s hierarchy
Accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM systems
Outstanding ability to persuade clients to implement change
Remuneration: 80,000-120,000 USD OTE
