What you will do:

As an Editorial Assistant, you’re in charge of helping with the administrative tasks of the department and turn over various content materials. You should have strong organizational and research skills and a love for details. You will be working closely with the Senior Marketing Communications Specialist and Department Leader for the execution of your tasks. Below are the tasks that you should expect from the position: 

  • Create copy and content for various marketing and communication platforms such as blogs, social media, and email.
  • Help with administrative tasks like filing, correspondence, and report creation. 
  • Contribute original ideas to the team. 
  • Assist with social media tasks like scheduling and engaging with followers. 
  • Perform basic editing on various types of write-ups.
  • Track and report submissions, responses, and other coordination both internal and external of the department.

Required Skills/Other terms: 

  • Entry-level to 2 years of experience in writing, social media management, or digital marketing. 
  • College/University graduate.
  • Skills in doing mobile photography is a plus.
