This is a remote position.

The IT Payment Support Engineer will focus on supporting payment module and integration of the Company's app by addressing incidents and perform continuous evaluation and improvement on the current implementation. He’ll be in-charge of identifying areas in need of improvement and issues that impacts both internal and external customer experience.

Working Arrangement: Home Based, work on-site as needed

Working Location: Ortigas, Pasig

Shift: Mon-Fri 9:00-6:00 pm

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Communicate with vendors, partners, and IT at local level
  • Communicates with Operation, Product, Group IT and Finance team as part of day-to-day activities from IT & Local production support
  • Analyze and Support payment systems related Incidents
  • Assess the systems architecture currently in place and work with other Architects and Engineers to recommend solutions for improvement and optimization
  • Help on resolving technical issues related to payment integration as they arise
  • Provides guidance to different stakeholders and development teams on the development features related to payments
  • Provide development team with architectural blueprints and diagrams in case no documentations are available
  • Continuously perform evaluation on existing payment implementations and propose improvements when needed
  • Inform various stakeholders on any issues and problems on the current technical payment solutions implemented
  • Help on assessing the business impact of the technical solutions to be implemented
  • Provide updates to the leads on process development and current progress in terms of incident KPIs and optimization

Software Engineer and Support

  • Participate on the daily sync up meeting
  • Develop and code modules assigned using the identified platform and programming language
  • Work together with different architects and discuss solutions to be developed
  • Follow the defined SDLC of the development team
  • Perform functional and technical testing on the solutions developed
  • Diagnose problems in relation with the user reported incidents
  • Provide application support to different units in relation to payments
  • Ensure that all incidents related to payments are attended with proper RCA and meets the defined SLA

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Software Engineer and Support
  • Banking and Payment industry experience is an advantage
  • Minimum 1 year experience in BancNet, Instapay, Pesonet, QR Code, Check Clearing House, settlement system design, integration and implementation
  • Know-how around local payment systems
  • Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design
  • Sound knowledge on different infrastructure, operating systems and platforms
  • Efficient writing and communications skills
