We are looking forward to Industrial Segment Sales Manager in Eaton’s electrical business, based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

This exciting role is part of a fast paced, and sales orientated team in a large multi-national company.

The role which offers a broad variety of responsibilities including international liaising and great learning opportunities.

The primary function of the job is to manage Industrial segment business development & bundle selling efforts & within the country either, direct or through partners; as well as achieve annual sales and growth targets.

Your essential responsibilities:

  • Promote sales activities by promoting products and vertical solutions to assigned segments or customers
  • Develop & Build strong relationship with segment focus end user, EPC & Consultant etc, maintain network with contractor panel builder, system integrator,
  • Provide and maintain a good service and support level to customers, so as to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Specify Eaton brand and its products and solutions to influencers and decision makers
  • Develop and execute sales plan together with country manager to achieve sales objectives and target set
  • Work and support the team to establish sales strategy and implementation
  • Work together with sales team to ensure collection of Account Receivables and achieve DSO target

If you are:

  • 8+ years related experience in electrical engineering
  • Significant Electrical Product/Services Knowledge
  • Knowledge of electrical low, medium voltage products and systems as well as control and electrical design.
  • Product knowledge in Power quality, IT equipment e.g. UPS,
  • Experience with specific segment, e.g. Mining, Cement, Datacenter, healthcare, education etc.
  • Ability to respond to a variety of challenging circumstances
  • Strong Time Management Skills
  • Strong Presentation/Training and Communication Skills
  • Significant experience utilizing Value Added Selling techniques
  • Strong Leadership competencies
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Takes initiative and instils confidence in peers and sales personnel
  • Strong organization and project management skills
