Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, product management, general management, or sales.
  • 5 years of experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex product integrations with third parties.
  • Experience in technology and emerging/early stage products.
  • Experience in operations and a large/global organization.
  • Ability to have strong stakeholder management across internal and external executives. Ability to be a thought leader and innovative.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and developed business judgment.

About The Job

As the Head of Channel Partnerships for Southeast Asia, you will drive product-enabling partnerships and growth generation across the region in close conjunction with Technical and Product teams. You will be a key connector across a complex network of regional and global stakeholders across Channel Partner teams and GCS cross-functional counterparts, translating global strategy into local planning. You will lead your team in activating strong partner stakeholder management, defining joint-value strategies, and identifying product solutions to unlock business growth.

Working with C-levels across our external partners and executive internal stakeholders, you will lead the team acting as a global strategy consultant, advising and influencing others with local market expertise. You are an excellent problem solver, and lead with thought leadership to build upon innovative strategies.

You will cultivate new and existing relationships to ensure Google's partners can take full advantage of our growing suite of offerings, while delivering impact to the partner through direct and indirect business growth. This will include leveraging strong product and technical acumen to effectively assess performance levers and product market fit, continuously sharing feedback with Product teams and scaling best practices where relevant. You will build customer-centric relationships and find opportunities with partners in order to best represent our users, products, and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Define partnership opportunities and plans for Southeast Asia and provide input to regional and global strategies. Build and deliver on go-to-market/partner engagement plans.
  • Lead a high-performing team in charge of driving partner strategy and effectiveness, offering relevant coaching and development to individuals where applicable.
  • Work with global Product teams to partner-enable incubations/launches of products, features, and user experiences across markets, surfaces, and industries. Scale products and features through increased market coverage, content acquisition, ecosystem enablement, and regional/industry insights.
  • Lead internal cross-functional relationships and collaborate with global, regional, and country teams (e.g. Product Management and Engineering, Partnership Solutions, Legal, Finance, Technical, Development Relations, Marketing, Public Relations/Communications, and Sales Country leadership).
  • Drive executive leadership to collaborate externally with C-level executives, boards of directors, with potential interaction with the press and industry analysts.
