Minimum qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • 12 years of experience in either Finance, Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Sales Strategy, and Operations or Sales Analytics, or equivalent relevant experience in sales finance or planning and project management.
  • Experience in developing and scaling teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in standardizing, streamlining, automating critical business analytics, and reporting.
  • Experience in co-designing/developing robust management information systems.
  • Experience leading cross-functional project teams through outstanding problem-framing and problem-structuring skills, project management skills, and the ability to communicate insights and “so what’s” to highly technical management teams.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to successfully navigate and influence within a complex business environment.
  • Understanding of cloud economics and analyzing a consumption based business model.

As the Head of Business Performance and Insights, you will be a critical leader on the APAC Google Cloud Go-to-Market Strategy and Operations team. You will be responsible for driving deep forward-looking insights (market, competition, internal) on our business and shaping our business actions and strategies, establishing and driving a consistent business operating rhythm and act as the steward of our data and tools and drive a consistent tools landscape across our teams.

Reporting to the Head of Go-to-Market Strategy and Operations, you will engage with senior global and regional business and cross-functional leaders, drive global thought leadership, and build and scale a business performance management team.

  • Develop insights on the APAC Google Cloud business performance and present actions, programs, and strategies to improve our performance (business growth, pipeline, productivity, health indicators) for the short and long-term.
  • Support Google Cloud leadership on our regular business performance reviews and drive market and competitive insights within the region to influence our strategies and plans.
  • Establish and drive a consistent business operating rhythm and tools and dashboards to inspect the numbers and drive remedial actions (or scale best practices).
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a business performance management and insights team.
  • Work cross-functionally with other leaders, including Global Strategy and Operations and Finance, to drive a tightly integrated set of strategies and plans.
