DevOps Consultant

I am recruiting in partnership with our client, a reputable and growing consultancy within the Digital Transformation space for a DevOps Engineering Consultant. The DevOps Engineer will resolve software problems with CI/CD solutions. This is a 1-year extendable contract role, extendable or convertible to permanent. 

Responsibilities:

⦁Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure

⦁Bet practice and innovative solution provision for application developers.

⦁Deploying software at client infrastructure and ensure successful operation

⦁Utilize expertise in enterprise application development tools and ops.

⦁Perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments to design CI and CD solutions.

⦁Develop customer COEs for Cloudbees and Jenkins using best-practice methodologies.

⦁Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers

⦁Effectively communicate advantages and disadvantages of various technologies and platforms.

⦁Respond to customer needs, feedback, and service requests.

Requirements:

⦁Bachelor’s Degree in IT, CS, or any related field 

⦁Strong understanding of operating systems such as Linux and MS Windows.

⦁Knowledge of Configuration as Code

⦁Ci/CD technology and pipeline experience

⦁Experience of Git, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, or Azure.

⦁Proficient and working knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, Bash, Javascript, SQL).

⦁Knowledge of Java frameworks and common libraries

⦁Knowledge of DevOps and Agile practices
