We are a diverse and exciting growing business in terms of what we do, our products and our people. We are looking to recruit a Data Analyst with AZ303 and AZ304 to join our dynamic team. ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to join a professional and motivated tea, based in KL, responsible for designing, building, supporting, and delivering mission critical product initiatives. There will also be cross functional activities where you will work closely with the Development and Product Teams in the UK. The role will be remote until the new facility if fully operational.

ABOUT YOU

You will be a resident of Kuala Lumpur, ideally you will be able to utilise your extensive technical knowledge to define architecture for this greenfield product. You will be able to articulate a vision and define the correct tooling, technologies, and approach to guide a multi-disciplined engineering team towards execution. You will analyse, shape, and help prioritise requirements as well as ensure they are implemented within budget, schedule, and environment constraints. You will have a good understanding of the business requirements with resources, structures and analyse metrics by measure effectiveness of the development with high return of investment goal.

Responsibilities:

  • As the Data Analytics Architect, you will analyse, shape, and help prioritize requirements as well as ensure they are implemented within the current budget, schedule, and environment constraints.
  • Research and document critical vendor graphs and provide guidance and solutions to development team members on how to meet business requirements.
  • Implement, maintain and support data technology architectures, design principles to ensure that they are aligned with business objectives.
  • Perform discovery, analysis, and reporting on a snapshot of data in a one-off, stand-alone fashion.
  • Perform both technical and non-technical designs that are aligned with best practices for data architecture.
  • Implement design principles and standards with inclusive guidelines for detailed design and developments to deliver the intended capabilities
  • Work closely with the business product and development teams.
  • Good understanding of the business requirements with resources, structures and analyse metrics by measure effectiveness of the development with high return of investment goal.

Qualifications:

  • More than 3 years experience in IT system development
  • Minimum 2 years experience in data and hands-on experience in.
  • Experience in interfacing with relational, NoSQL, or Big Data databases.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically, analyse client usage data and provide the client suggestions on how to improve costs.
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience, preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or a Business-related degree.
  • Fluent in English.
