Data Analyst

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Join a team that scrapes data from the web / social media
• Extract, prepare and transform data from MySQL database and other sources
• Manage and upgrade a set of data scraping scripts written in Python
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to our continuous enhancement process
  

Requirements

• BS or MS in computer science or equivalent
• >2 years experience using relational databases such as MySQL, MS-SQL
• At least 1 year experience using Python (entry to intermediate knowledge)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good understanding of SQL queries : data extraction and manipulation, query optimization ...etc
