As a Functional Salesforce Consultant, you will be responsible for understanding the business requirements, overall solution design, refining use cases/user stories as well as documentation of requirements, building out the declarative aspects of the solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Business analysis including review of existing processes, systems, documentation
  • Requirements gathering, user story definition and management in JIRA and/or similar tools
  • Identification of different use cases and test scripts specific to captured user requirements
  • Contribute to solution design while working alongside Solution and Technical Architect(s) and other team members
  • Mapping to requirements to capabilities leveraging and maximising standard features 
  • System configuration and customisation in line with solution design and while adhering to best practices and standards 
  • Provide advice or suggestions for improvement according to the objectives of the design.
  • Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentation
  • Participate in hypercare support to provide assistance to end users 

Experience and Skills:

  • Ideally someone who has a background on either of the following:
  • CRM administrator that is heavily stakeholder facing & has implemented internal CRM projects 
  • Technical business analyst that has specialised in CRM (Salesforce, Siebel, Pega, etc with experience in configuration)
  • Traditional salesforce functional consultant
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Tenacious, detailed oriented and self motivated
  • Preferably Salesforce Certified or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required - Computer Science, IT or equivalent
  • Knowledge of applications, relational databases and web technologies 
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment
  • Actively developing their professional network through participation in technology user groups, networking events, and technology organizations.
