Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of analytical work experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, marketing/sales, or a business operations and analytics environment

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with database query (e.g. SQL), and thought leadership in developing analyses/models and applying them to create a tangible impact
  • Experience communicating insights to executives and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proficiency in translating data into actionable insights and digestible formats
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and navigate to a positive outcome, and analyze large quantities of data with spreadsheets (e.g. Sheets)
  • Ability to consistently deliver quality outputs in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple projects and ad-hoc requests simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and analysis skills, combined with business acumen and well-organized

The Go-To-Market Operations (GTM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas.

As a Corporate Strategy Analyst for Google’s Asia Pacific (APAC) business, you will support and drive diverse range of strategy projects and initiatives that are critical to the future growth of Google’s business in APAC.

In this role, you will engage and coordinate closely with a large range of Google’s global, regional and local teams. You will transform data into digestible, actionable insights, and present this to broad audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic initiatives with data analytics and insights.
  • Help shape differentiated growth strategies and efficiency initiatives for Google in APAC countries collaborating cross-functionally across stakeholders and assets.
  • Provide operational and strategic management updates and support the operations of the regional APAC business and management agenda.
  • Facilitate strategy development and communication processes with executives across all levels.
  • Drive strategy implementation initiatives and manage regional and global programs across APAC.
