Job Description

Homebase’s Corporate Lawyer is a high-impact position that will work directly with our CEO, and COO to co-manage the company’s internal and external corporate matters, legal structuring and contracts, and future product innovation and development.

This position would be a good fit for an entrepreneurial lawyer with extremely strong fundamentals who is willing to provide legal advice when exploring and developing new and innovative products in financial services and technology.

We’re looking for someone who is willing to veer off the well-beaten path and is excited by new models and the opportunity to make a difference in creating new solutions that have never been done before.

At Homebase, You Will Get a Chance To

• Structure, innovate and provide legal advice and support on novel real estate transactional models in Vietnam
• Provide legal counsel on fintech business, including eKYC, credit scoring, lending platforms, payment solutions, etc.
• Creatively structure legal solutions for potential clients, partners, and investors
• Manage the outsourcing of commercially significant matters/contracts or specialized work to external counsel and law firms.
• Work closely with the Legal team on other corporate legal matters.

Our Requirements

We are looking for candidates who fulfill the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or higher degree from a reputable university.
• Excellent command of English and Vietnamese (both verbal and written)
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a lawyer in a reputable law firm(s) or company (ies) or banks as an in-house lawyer, preferable in related areas.
• Knowledge of real estate, proptech, and the relevant regulatory requirements will be preferred.
• Good understanding of the industry and business requirements.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and improvement mindset.
• Determined and result-oriented to complete tasks and achieve goals.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to align the organization on complex decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
