Drafting of all relevant compliance-related policies, implementing and ensure compliance by all relevant stakeholders
Serve as a subject matter expert in all regulatory requirements for the business, and provide day to day regulatory advisory to the business
Lead and manage the regulatory license application and maintenance
Responsible for communications with regulators and responding to the day-to-day requests from external and internal auditors on regulatory/ compliance matters
Report regularly to the company’s senior management on the license status and any regulatory compliance matters
Monitor any changes in regulatory developments that would potentially impact the business and providing timely updates to the relevant stakeholders
Assisting in ad-hoc compliance reviews, testing or other regulatory-driven projects
Assist in training and development of new or inexperienced staff
Working with internal/external parties (for example clients, fund managers, vendors, fund accountants, auditors etc)
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Huobi Singapore, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
At least Bachelor’s Degree or higher
At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in asset/fund management.
Candidate with ICE / APEX / SGX / MAS background or from CMS or Capital Market department preferred.
Experience handling fund management licence application is a plus
Familiar with the Securities and Futures Act (“SFA”) for fund management
Experience in dealing with regulators or as MAS liaison officer
Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken
Willing to take challenges and work under pressure
