Job Description :

A Buyer Engagement Manager (BEM) will act as a key liaison between local buyers and Tridge HQ. As the local representative, BEMs will deliver our mission by prospecting and qualifying a list of local buyers through introducing Tridge and laying the foundation for successful trade deals. BEMs will collaborate with Tridge HQ daily to build and manage a pipeline of prospective buyers. A high level of ownership, a result-oriented attitude, "whatever it takes" mentality are the keys to this position's success.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop buyer network on importing raw cashew nuts from South Africa
  • Develop supplier network on exporting kernel cashew nuts
  • Deal and find a solution to compensate buyers in case cargo has trouble
  • Do quality check after cargo arrives/ before loading cargo
  • Contact and evaluate the credibility of businesses based on the measurements and
  • guidelines provided by Tridge
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions
  • and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Achieve sales goals by following a defined selling process with buyers and suppliers, often
  • utilizing product demos and presentations
  • Identify new opportunities to capture and win new businesses
  • Ensure that supplier or buyer agreements are executed
  • Collect market information by doing research and communicating with suppliers and
  • buyers
  • Manage other Engagement Managers and business development in the market
  • Any other tasks that are necessary in maintaining the Tridge system and business
  • partnership


  • 2+ years of experience in the sales/business development background
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in the local language
  • Spoken and written English skills of conversational level or higher recommended
  • Understanding of agricultural value chain in the global trade business
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
