What are we looking for?

We’re a team of 6 looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team on a full-time basis.

If you're someone who enjoys seeking new opportunities for businesses and is able to take ownership over your area of work, then this role is for you. To help get you on your way through, you will spend your first month or two working under the guardian of the Operations Lead/Chief of Staff.

To be successful in this role, you should have some previous experience in developing leads based on research and marketing efforts. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers. Your immediate area of focus will be on supporting the company’s efforts on Creator Outreach. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Vetting the quality of leads i.e. Influencers/Creators which has been generated by our group of freelancers based on the criteria set by the company
  • Contacting potential leads through cold emails
  • Communicating the company’s offering to each lead in a way that feels exciting and personalised
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities
  • Setting up business development / onboarding calls between Influencers/Creators and AVID’s senior leadership team
  • Collaborating with other team members on business development efforts
  • Monitoring and reporting (weekly and monthly) on business development progress and efforts
  • Supporting any other Marketing, Sales, and/or Business Development efforts of the company that may be assigned to you from time to time
  • Supporting on other administrative that may be needed by team members
  • Creating and/or improving reporting templates for Marketing efforts

To succeed in this role, you will need to:

  • Have proven work experience in business development, sales, and/or marketing
  • Be detail oriented,process driven, and highly organised
  • Comfortable conducting research and analysing data, and able to report in a clear and easily understandable manner
  • A great communicator
  • A good project manager
  • Some experience in copywriting is a plus.
