Business Development Engineer 

for a permanent, full-time work-from-home position to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Job Description

  • You will immerse yourself in Versasec software products, customers, partners and markets, and demonstrate business abilities and passion for IT-security requirements.
  • You will analyze existing and potential markets in the region in order to develop business opportunities strategically and promote Versasec’s products and benefits to customers.
  • Following the Versasec global BizDev strategy, you will support and grow our technology partner and reseller network by regular meetings, product updates, press releases, case studies, and educational webinars, as well as attending trade shows, conferences, and other relevant marketing events
  • Together with our local Technical Consultant, you will provide pre-sales and post-sales assistance and guidance to customers and partners

The Ideal Candidate will have

  • 5+ years experience in Business Development for complex software solutions along with a sophisticated understanding of acquisition processes, cycles, and priorities
  • Experience in IT Security / IAM 
  • Professional and effective communication skills with clients, customers and peers; as well as excellent management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and hold presentations and webinars to existing and prospective customers
  • Ability to work in an international, multi-cultural team
