About The Team
The Package stage creates a consistent and dependable software supply chain with built-in package management.
This enables teams to package their applications and dependencies, manage containers, and build artifacts with ease. The private, secure, container and package registry are built-in and preconfigured out-of-the-box to work seamlessly with GitLab source code management and CI/CD pipelines. Ensure DevOps acceleration and a faster time to market with automated software pipelines that flow freely without interruption.

Most backend developers work on all aspects of GitLab, building features, fixing bugs, and generally improving the application.
As a Backend Engineer or Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in maturing Package features like Package Registry , Container Registry , and Dependency Proxy .
In the future, you will be shaping and defining how features like the Dependency Firewall and the Helm Chart Repository will look like, be architected, and function.

For Colorado residents: The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently $107,500 - $188,900 for Colorado residents only. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. See more information on our benefits and equity . Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary.
