Backend Engineer (NestJS)

Alpha Code is a venture technology partner headquartered in Malaysia, we partners with early-stage startup wanting to launch their digital products in South-East Asia.

You will be joining one of our product team, to build an on-demand service SaaS platform, and supporting our pilot client, one of the largest electronic appliance manufacturer in the world with multi-millions customer in Malaysia region.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Work directly with CTO, development teams, and product managers to ideate software solutions.
• Build & maintain API based backend application in NestJS.
• Design & provide recommendations on coding design & server side architecture.
• Develop & manage well functioning SQL databases.
• Unit Test, troubleshoot, debug & upgrade software.
• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
• Exploration and application of latest technologies into product.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• 2+ years of experience using Javascript Base frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience in unit testing and deploying programs and systems.
• Proven hands-on experience with NestJS.
• Proven hands-on experience with SQL database (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, & AWS.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skill.
• Able to articulate and break down complex problems into simple solutions.

BONUS POINTS

• Experience in Vue.js Framework.
• Experience in Flutter Framework.
