Peak Support is customer service and business process outsourcing company.  We are seeking a full-time Accounting Associate from the Philippines.

The Accounting Associate will provide an integral support to the Accounting and Finance team by helping the Accounting Manager in maintaining the accounting books of two (2) entities following the applicable accounting standards. The said candidate is responsible for the timely bookkeeping of entries, proper maintenance of balance sheet and profit or loss schedules, and ensures that the financial statements are devoid of any material misstatements whether due to error or fraud. He/she will also assist the Accounting Manager during internal and external audits that concern the accounting records of both entities. He/she is also expected to be updated on the latest matters affecting the accounting compliances of both entities

and is conversant with existing standards and principles. Lastly, the candidate is

expected to be open to new roles and tasks which may be assigned to him/her.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be a CPA
  • At least 2 years of rigid working experience in the same capacity as applied for (i.e. general ledger experience)
  • With thorough knowledge on the current applicable accounting standards
  • Knows how to properly maintain balance sheet and income statement schedules
  • Meticulous attention to details
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to work efficiently without close supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Can interpret and apply new accounting standards
  • Has experience preparing financial statements
  • Has experience working under a BPO’s accounting shared services
  • Has experience in internal and external audits
  • Strong verbal and written English skill
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheet

Technical Requirements:

  • Good computer setup with Chrome browser
  • Legitimate Windows 10 OS
  • minimum of 8GB RAM
  • minimum processor: i3 - 7th gen ~ 10th gen, i5 4th gen or higher, AMD A8 - 5000 series or higher, AMD Ryzen 3 2200G or higher
  • DSL/Fiber internet connection (at least 10-20Mbps)
  • Install a centralized device management software (company-provided) to your computer for account security purposes
